Preparing Submissions on Proposed Policy Statements and Plans
Checklist

Use Form 5 of The Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure) Regulations 2003

Identify the proposed policy statement or plan on which you are making a submission.

Clearly identify the provisions on which you wish to make a submission

Clearly set out the reasons for supporting or opposing each provision

Identify the wording changes you are seeking to the provisions

Indicate that you wish to be heard if you are raising issues of substance and are available to attend the hearing

Indicate that you would be prepared to present a joint case with other submitters
-
Set out your submission clearly with readable typeface, wide margins, good spacing and liberal use of headings.

Sign and date the submission and provide your full name, address and telephone number
-
Lodge you submission with the council by delivery, fax or mail before the closing date. << Back
