Preparing Submissions on Proposed Policy Statements and Plans

Before preparing your submission you will need to review and analyse the proposed plan or policy statement to identify if there are provisions which you would like to change or see deleted. See reviewing proposed policy statements and plans for more information on this topic. Once you have identified issues of concern you will need to prepare a written submission to lodge with the Council.

Submissions must be prepared generally in accordance with Form 5. Many councils have produced their submission forms based on Form 5.
